Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Gamer’s Edge was established in 2012 because a group of gamers got tired of travelling an hour away to compete in local weeklies at a quality game shop.
What began as our hobby quickly blossomed into one of the fastest-growing game shops in the country. Our success comes from taking pride in everything we do and showing genuine appreciation to the gaming community that helped build us.
After all, we only exist because of dedicated players, collectors and gaming fans like you.

We provide the local gaming community with fair pricing and dependable product availability. Most of our products are sold at or below MSRP, with many prices too low to advertise—even on the limited releases everyone is trying to get their hands on.

Our modern gaming facility is designed to be clean, safe and comfortable. It is regularly maintained and loaded with air fresheners, so you can focus on games, tournaments and meeting other players without worrying about the dreaded gamer funk.
No Ridiculous Gaming Fees
We do not nickel-and-dime our community with monthly fees, table fees or unnecessary charges just to spend time in the store. Come in, meet great people and save your money for something more important—like more Pokémon packs.
The Community Grew, and So Did We.
Success followed because the community embraced what we were building. We humbly began in a 1,200-square-foot store with modest seating for only 24 players.
Within weeks, we had to expand to 36 seats, then 48 and beyond. Just months later, we found ourselves temporarily removing merchandise to accommodate midnight prerelease events and renting larger venues to host tournaments with more than 100 players.
Within our first year, we relocated to a 5,000-square-foot facility capable of comfortably accommodating more than 120 players.
Expanding Once Again for the Poconos Gaming Community
As we prepare to begin our 15th year serving the Poconos, we are proud to announce another expansion into a new location with plans to host upwards of 200 players.
